About Me

I am a Security Engineer specializing in the Microsoft security ecosystem, with a deep focus on identity and access management, threat detection, and engineering secure endpoint, network, and cloud controls. My day-to-day involves designing and managing robust architectures across Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender XDR.

My work is heavily grounded in Zero Trust architecture, identity governance, and compliance frameworks—including the ASD Essential Eight, ISM controls, and the ASD Blueprint for Secure Cloud. Whether tightening access controls or investigating threats, I focus on building scalable, resilient security operations that last.

Outside of engineering, I document technical builds and security research at prajwaltimsina.medium.com and actively participate in Canberra’s local cybersecurity community and meetups.
